Gifts of Stock
You can make a gift of appreciated stocks or securities via a direct transfer to our brokerage account. Your charitable deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock on the date of transfer and you may avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. (Please consult your tax advisor for full tax implication information). A letter of transfer detailing our account information can be downloaded here.
