Power Hour
During Power Hour, every member can achieve their goals with dedication and guidance. That’s why we provide a supportive environment where attendees can complete their homework with a 45-minute rotation from Monday through Thursday. Our dedicated leaders are always available to provide assistance, supplies, or encouragement whenever needed. Once the homework is done, members can engage in independent reading or educational activities and challenges, which help them grow and learn. We also keep a close eye on those who need individual help so they can get the support they need to succeed. With Power Hour, we’re committed to helping our members reach their full potential and achieve their dreams.
Tutoring
Through tutoring, we can offer specialized academic support that goes beyond the classroom. We focus on those who may be struggling with reading and math, providing them with one-on-one attention and guidance. Whether through the help of volunteers from the community or dedicated staff members, our goal is to assist each member in completing daily assignments, mastering core principles, and ultimately boosting their confidence and comprehension.
STEM
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a program that inspires members to explore and discover exciting careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Through engaging sessions that feature interviews, videos, and learning experiences, STEM opens up a world of new and unique opportunities. Members can step into the shoes of STEM professionals and develop a basic understanding of one or more aspects of a career. With STEM, the sky’s the limit!
Art
We believe that every member is unique and possesses a great deal of creativity and imagination. Our Art program aims to provide a diverse range of opportunities for our members to try new techniques, develop new skills, and explore new mediums. From guided projects for our youngest members to exploration of personal expression for our older ones, we encourage both group and individual creativity and achievement. Through this program, our members discover the beauty of art as a means to observe details, communicate feelings, and express their personal talents. It is a time for traditional and unique methods, materials, and displays, where many members discover their uniquely creative abilities.
